The pre authorization of a credit card is not posted anywhere. The owner mentioned in a previous response that the same thing happens in gas stations. In gas stations when a credit card is pre authorized, you get a receipt. This is the only place where a pre authorized credit card does not give you a receipt for time used. I had this problem, and will not be back.
I have two concerns with this car wash. First, the water is cold and the pressure is very high. It is hard to manage the wand given the pressure and ideally the combination would be warm water and less pressure....there are lots of older car washes in the area that provide a better wand wash. At Sparkle is it as if they expect you to take more time and use a brush to get your car clean because using only the wand doesn't get the job done.
