Excellent stay at the Spark by Hilton Rochester University Area. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Great location - convenient to many restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend this place!

Excellent mid-price hotel. The staff are friendly and super helpful. The manager is extremely attentive to clients. The rooms are very clean, quiet, well designed and comfortable. On my first visit I asked for a one king bed, which was quite spacious enough. On my second visit, I'm staying in a two queen bed that is even more spacious. We had a wonderful stay with our family of 5 for a hockey tournament. An error with the booking agent canceled our reservation and charged us a night we weren’t even there to stay. Sara helped get us a room for the weekend and made the canceled reservation right. Sara even reached out after we left! Breakfast was great, beds were comfortable and the area was close to everything- mall, Wegmans, Pure Hockey, the rinks, etc. The staff were very nice and everything was clean! We would love to stay there again!
I would 100% stay here again. Check in was a breeze. The room was new looking, modern, and clean. Breakfast was just bagels, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, and hard boiled eggs, but plenty filling and all day coffee and tea available. We both thought the bed was comfortable. There is a restaurant/bar next door to eat, but plenty within a quick drive. And, check out was also a breeze. The only thing I wish the room had is a microwave.
