We stayed one night with a dog, and the property was maintained, rooms very clean,simply decor, but it's more of a motel room. Free breakfast bagels,muffins,yogurts, coffee, and juice. Coffee and tea are always free and available in the lobby. Has a small concession stand as well as pain relievers, cold drinks, and nice variety. I met Manger Tara extremely nice and accommodating see you again. Thanks!
1. Unprofessional Check-In: Upon arrival, the front desk staff was on a personal phone call during the check-in process. I was given the key fob without any explanation of hotel amenities such as breakfast hours, pool access, or housekeeping—information that should be standard. 2. Unsanitary Bedding: When we entered our room, both comforters were visibly dirty with hair of various colors and types, as well as stains. When I go to the *beach * I want to stay on the beach. Not 3 blocks away. I warn you. This place should belong to the hotel in front of it. Trust me you don't want to find out like I did. This should be a last resort choice.
This is a tough review for me to write. I wanted to give a 4, but it's at best a 7/10. Essentially, the most recent review before mine said it all. Spark is a budget hotel with a Hilton name attached to it. The staff were friendly and helpful, the lodgings ok (the bed was comfortable), but it's just, eh. Some disappointments: I was led to believe through Hotels.com, that microwaves were in all the rooms. Not true. Ours had a good size refrigerator, but no microwave. They canceled our reservation 2 hours after we made it. We made it around 6 pm and they canceled it by 8 pm on this trash island.
