I want to give the highest praise to Jun (not sure about the spelling) at Spa Onna! He always gives me the best haircut that perfectly suits my face. He’s incredibly hospitable and somehow always finds time for me, even though I constantly fail to book online because he’s always fully booked (for good reason!). I recently had the pleasure of getting a digital perm done by Min, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Min is a highly skilled and experienced Korean hairstylist who recently immigrated to Canada, and although she doesn’t speak much English yet, we had no problem communicating — thanks to a translation app! Kelly did Hybrid Full Set Eyelash Extensions several times for me. She was fast enough to finish in 1 hour but it never lasted more than a week. Not recommend at all.
I went to Spa Onna this Monday for a color and haircut, and it was absolutely the worst experience of my life. I asked for a short cut, but the bottom was completely uneven with random long strands, and the right side was layered so much that it was far shorter than the other side. My hair is totally asymmetrical, uneven, and terrible. To make matters worse, I had to spend extra money to fix it, even though I went there hoping to have nice hair for my vacation.
