Poorly ran facility, low grade cheap food. Understaffed more then 50 % of the time.

After finding out that my mother had eight teeth extracted all at once, without the facility informing any of her family. I tried calling the Nursing Director, the Admissions Director, the Facility Director and Social Service Director. It's been two weeks and yet no phone call. Yesterday my mother was taken to the emergency room because her teeth were bleeding profusely. I was informed after the fact. Today I have been asking to speak to a nurse about my mother's condition. I would not recommed this facility to anyone in need of care. The care is lacking to say the least. Communication and follow up is apparently not a priority to the care givers at this facility. They are clearly understaffed and do not have it together. The employees are short with you when approched and don't seem to care much about the patients. I would not put trust in the level of service given at Spanish Trails. We left some very important paperwork for the Doctor to complete for my mother before her discharge three week... read more
