my mother was transferred to spanish hills and wellness suites after her stroke and hospital discharge. My mother was there, roughly 2 months as they continue to bill her physical therapy insurance reporting to them that she was showing improvement, allowing her stay to be lengthen. They were fraudulently billing over six week time as in fact my mother declined from Walker used to wheelchair-bound status. If you are considering rehab for yourself or a loved one, DON'T be taken in by the lovely facility. I was there for 1 month (9/2017), and I can honestly say the place is dirty & call lights (when answered at all) irritate the staff. Be prepared to wait a minimum of 21 minutes for assistance. The food is awful, and the supervisor was condecending when I pleaded for something palatable. You'll hear "we're short staffed" often to justify the lousy treatment.
