I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at JCPenney Optical, assisted by Betty. The quality of the glasses I received was abysmal. I have always ordered from America's Best and never had any issues, but this time I decided to purchase two pairs of progressive glasses from JCPenney Optical. Maureen was very helpful at the South County location, making sure measurements were correct and helping pick out attractive frames in my price range. When I picked up the glasses, Artie made sure they were adjusted correctly and even did an adjustment to an older pair of glasses I had with me. They were both great - I really recommend this location!

I went to the office four times in an attempt to get a contact lens prescription. The first time was my eye examination and the other three were for fittings. For those three fitting visits I left each time with a new trial pair because I was still unable to see. I called a few weeks later to explain that I was moving and would no longer be able to wait and that I would like a refund because I was walking away without a prescription. This optical sucks, i called today to let them know that i was not able to see anything with my new presciption and they told me to came in the afternoon so we can check you, so i came and i show them the box the i bought here, so the lady she ohh that presciption is ok and your contacts, so is no problem the doctor is gone so if you have problems i can schedule again and pay next time reallly i just told you i can't see anything, very bad customer servic3, never come back again.
