We picked up our HighRider camping utility trailer in Red Wing and put it to use right away. The trailer was awesome for our 1600mi. 7-day trip to the Black Hills of South Dakota. We stayed at 3 different campgrounds. Setup each time was easy and accomplished in under 30mins with a 6 y/o child helping. Tear down roughly the same. No issues at all pulling the trailer with my Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness. Very happy with the purchase. Thanks Dan for your help in making this a memorable trip and we look forward to the next.
We just completed a 4300 mile road trip to pick-up our Space Trailer at the half way point. We camped out every night for two weeks. The first half of the trip we used a cargo carrier to hold our equipment. For the last half of the trip we had the Space Trailer. The new trailer has been an absolute game changer for us. Great little trailer that tows very easily and smoothly. Love the versatility and dry storage. Haven't used it camping yet, but should do well for that and transporting bikes, boats, and an RT tent. Only surprise was that to open the tailgate, the top must first be opened as the tailgate release levers are inside the box. Update- after building taller crossbars with extruded aluminum, it’s been great camping with our RT tent. Holds a ton of gear and tows nicely
I purchased my Highrider XL from Space Trailers back in June 2024. The process was flawless, and it was even ready for pickup faster than quoted. I started using the trailer and quickly noticed it was a rougher ride than I anticipated. The whole trailer would leave the pavement whenever I went over any significant bump. Just completed a 4600 mile. 3-week camping adventure out west from KY pulling my 13" wheel, high lift with roof top tent and awning through NM and AZ. Trailer was fully loaded and performed perfectly on this varied trip. It's flexibility as to use paid dividends on this trip.
