The diagnosis was accurate, but the process left me feeling uncertain and frustrated due to poor communication. I was left waiting in the lobby for an excessive time without updates, the evaluation took longer than agreed on, and Dr. Salinas promised a follow-up but didn’t reach out for two weeks, even after I visited her office and left a note requesting a call. The lack of proper communication made the experience stressful and upsetting.
Set up 2 calls for a 10-minute consultation. No one ever called both times, even though your confirmation page states that you will call. Have a phone number that is just an automated answering service that no way to speak to someone.
Scheduled a 10 minute consultation, set aside time from my busy day waiting around for a call that never came, first red flag 40 minutes later received an email thanking me for my time and that it was “great talking” to me, second red flag I’m not willing to wait around for a third one. I’m a Disabled Veteran needing an evaluation for Dyscalculia. I already an ADHD diagnosis, but Dyscalculia is not within my psychiatrists scope and suggested to look out in the private sector for an Eval out of pocket, which I was more than... read more
