Pretty underwhelmed. The massage was fine but the spa itself was not impressive. Minimal amenities. Just a small jacuzzi. Steam room was closed. No sauna, no area to really sit and relax. Came with my husband and was disappointed.
Spa Terra at the Meritage Resort has a lot of potential, but my experience was ultimately frustrating. I tried to call ahead to pay in advance, which turned into an unnecessarily difficult process. After waiting on hold, the person who picked up immediately transferred me to a voicemail system without really attempting to understand what I needed. It felt dismissive and inefficient. I recently visited Spa Terra with two friends, and overall we had a relaxing and enjoyable experience especially our massages, which were excellent. Our goal was to have a peaceful, stress-free Sunday, and the massage portion definitely delivered. However, there were a few issues that impacted the rest of our visit. Terrible massage. 1 hour massage was 41 minutes. Ridiculous. I hate to leave such a negative review. But masseuses didn't listen or respond to specific requests. Paid extra for the deep tissue massage, but it was the lightest touch. Nothing deep-tissue or relaxing about it. Barely applied pressure. Massage was so bad, it's hard to find the words to describe.
