Nightmare. Left upset and stressed. Chill-out area service: Sat there several times for long periods, menu open, menu in the hand, looking up. Had to physically stop a staff member mid-sprint to order. When I asked if guests always need to track staff down, he said yes. The spa is nice and my massage was good. I will say that it was extremely disappointing to have been there for hours excited to enjoy a day at the spa to then not have anybody check in and see if we wanted a drink or some food despite there being menus at every lounge table. We didn’t have 1 person in the hours we were there before our services and we were there for at least 2-3 hours. That’s just crazy. I reserved a massage session there, and the RMT was very nice and friendly. The only improvement I would suggest is adding some amenities in the changing room, such as a comb, toothbrush and shower cap.
The facial was mediocre. The hot tub is dirty, small and very old. I saw bugs in the pool area. Not a pleasant experience. I would think The Ritz would ensure a luxurious experience. The lounge is lovely but I'll be choosing other spas given the overall experience.
Wow! I came here for a little spa day as a birthday celebration and it was absolutely amazing. From the moment I stepped in, I felt welcomed and relaxed. I arrived a bit earlier to enjoy the amenities (it was really quiet and felt like I had the spa to myself) before my treatment and I'm glad I did as it did get a bit busier in the late afternoon.
