I’ve been going to Melissa for massages for years now, usually one to two times a month, and she is amazing! She’s great at deep tissue but also gives very relaxing massages, and she even did my prenatal massages when I was pregnant. She always goes above and beyond, and her studio is spotless and calming with thoughtful touches like warm towels and essential oils. Melissa is friendly, professional, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great massage therapist.
I visited Melissa today for my first deep tissue massage! It was so worth it! She is very welcoming and has a lovely, calm environment for treatment. I primarily have pain in my upper body, which she worked so well. Her pressure was amazing, and I know I’ll feel great after a few days. I definitely have more movement and mobility in my neck, which is rare. Thank you so much for your hard work and kindness! See you again soon!
Spa Melissa is in a really lovely location up above Pine Square in historic downtown Mount Vernon. Melissa clearly has an expertise in deep tissue and sports massage, and she's an athlete herself, in addition to having a background as a fitness instructor and personal trainer. She's really strong, too, for those who are seeking real deep tissue work. From my 90-minute session with her, my upper back felt totally re-balanced after having felt out of whack for the greater part of a decade now. I will return in the future! Reco... read more
I have gotten so many messages in my life, and I can tell you that Spa Melissa is the absolutely wonderful! She listens to what you want and gives you a really great message! I recently referred one of my Nieces to her and she loved her message experience with her so much that she referred her Boyfriend. Love her so much that I would rate her 100%!!
Melissa is BY FAR the most knowledgeable and talented massage therapist I have ever been to. In 47 years of getting 2 hour massages on my part she is mind blowingly good. She works through the adhesions and knots that you have in your muscles and gets to the heart of the current problems that are affecting you. I CANNOT recommend her enough! Going forward I will go to no one other than her. I have found THE BEST!!!
