Worst massage of my life. And I've had many. My husband and I decided to book a couple's massage during a recent vacation in Palm Springs. My massage therapist rubbed my muscles like he was trying to stretch out a pizza dough. He massaged me so fast, and rough, it was not relaxing at all. My husband said his massage was only mediocre. We had a horrible experience at the Spa at the Embassy Suites in La Quinta CA. When I called for an appointment I asked if they had a steam room and whirlpool and I was told they did and I could use them. I was told I had to give a credit card in advance because "they pay the therapists in advance.' That sounded sketchy to me, but I did it. When we arrived at the spa 1 hour before our appointments no one was there. I asked at the front desk and was told the hotel had nothing to do with the spa and they could not help me. While enjoying a relaxing weekend in the Palm Springs area, my fiancé and I booked massages at Spa Hibiscus. The massage was average but it is the unprofessional exchange of the masseuse that was very off putting. We will not visit this spa in the future.
