I called last minute for an appointment on the same day (I'm a very last minute kind of person) and asked to be seen. I was able to get an appointment with Karina for that night. The experience was amazing. It's on a quiet street in soho which in itself is very relaxing, but hip kind of place that you just want to walk in to and see what they do! Literally the best spa in Manhattan, great service and very nice people. The spa smelled wonderful and I loved the wallpaper and decor. Perfect spot for Soho. The staff were attentive and offering me flavored water, I particularly loved the strawberry water. I had a facial with Julianna and she was hands down the best. It's a brand new spa and I'm already in love. it's convenient and close to work so I just walk there whenever I need a facial or massage. Thank you!!
irritated my eyelashes a bit, but overall good experience
Overall, while the receptionist and therapist were perfectly nice, the spa smelled great, but the Spa was not up to par. There was a lot of outside noise, the massage table was not substantial, the therapist was not very professional, she played the same 3 R&B songs on repeat for the entire hour, and finally, they didn't have a lot of the minor typical items like pillows for under the legs or belly, etc. It was an OK, but not great experience.
I popped into Spa Florence on a whim because I had an extra hour to kill before meeting friends for dinner at Raouls a block away. I asked the lovely receptionist if I could receive a Swedish massage immediately and she exclaimed: Absolutely!
