As a SLO local, I cannot recommend Spa Cerro enough! The Spa was not only beautiful and incredibly peaceful from start to finish, but also had so many thoughtful amenities available throughout. Zoe at the front desk was incredibly kind and patiently answered all of my questions. Great Slo Staycation, as a local and visiting Spa Cerro my visits are always a pleasure. Today, I had Renee for my facial, she is experienced in detail to every aspect of skin care.. The product line is excellent, the spa staff is welcoming and the afterglow in outdoor seating area relaxing. Thank you for a full day of self care that sends me home revitalized. I agree that parking and pool access should be included as our other local hotel spa does.
Just had a massage last weekend and while the massage therapist did a good job the whole experience, was such a turn off. As a local I will not be coming back. First, spa guests are not allowed to use the hotel parking. So now you have to pay for parking. Second, they charge gratuity up front. I’m not even allowed to have the service first to see if I believe the provider deserves more. Lastly, my mom and I were excited to use the pool, and get some drinks and food after our massage. I just had one of the most amazing massages I’ve had in a long time. The front desk was extremely courteous and nice. John was excellent. He asked me questions before the massage and concentrated on the areas I needed the most. Bathroom, shower and steam room were extremely clean. It was an extremely relaxing and enjoyable experience.
