Ballantyne Resort and Spa is a decent place overall, but in my opinion, it is overpriced for what you actually get. The property is nice, the atmosphere is polished, and there are definitely parts of the experience that feel relaxing and upscale. That said, the service didn’t quite match the price point. Facilities are wonderful. Massage was not even close to the time length that was paid.
I had a good time only because I was with my friends. The massage was mediocre at best and twice the price of what I would pay normally. If you get add-ons for an additional cost with your massage like we did, it just takes time away from the regular massage. Nothing is actually “added on” so that is deceitful wording in my opinion. Total relaxation experience! Highly recommend a facial with Daniel and a salt stone massage with Marie! After services, spend time in the sauna and visit the indoor pool! I definitely will be back!
