I have been parking at The Shops at Skyview parking garage regularly for years. I usually park for 3–4 hours, and I have always paid around $4–$10. Today I was shocked to see that I was charged $31.73. There was no clear warning that the parking rate had changed to such a high event rate. I understand that special event rates may apply, but customers should be clearly informed before entering the garage. I had to pay for parking twice because when I paid at one of the machines, the payment went through, but after that, the machine's screen went black and didn't give me a receipt. After that, when I tried to leave, I tried scanning the receipt I already had, thinking it might work that way, but it didn't. I had to pay again to leave. I tried to reach someone four times, but it was impossible, neither by phone nor in person.

I booked and prepaid this ahead of time for a stay in a nearby hotel. It is in an extremely convenient location with easy walkability. I had absolutely no trouble and no issue leaving my car overnight.
