parked for a couple hours going to the grand opera house. no ticket or instructions when you enter and nothing when you leave to notify you of required payment. gates were open both ways with everyone in the garage wondering the same thing. is this public parking? seems like a scam to get more money which they will not be getting from me.
I would say to avoid parking in this garage but due to being one of the most accessible places to park it’s impossible. They randomly increased monthly parking by almost $30, leaving current leaseholders who park there no option but to pay it. The increase is probably due to the new system they installed of the automatic gates but those don’t even work part of the time. The new owners are dishonest. They charge a $75 fine on a $5 parking charge if you don’t pay when you leave, even though they don’t take cash or card and require an app and an account which you don’t know unless you look them up on the web.
horrible parking garage; don't ever use it if you can possibly avoid it. The line to get into the space was incredibly long because the structure was designed so poorly (sharp turns, narrow parking spaces, narrow vehicular corridors) that vehicles can't move easily into the facility. Large vehicles (pick-up trucks) would never be able to park in this facility due to an inability to maneuver. The payment kiosk was also not very convenient.
