I was unable to exit the garage because the Metropolis portal wouldn’t process my credit card. The gate wouldn’t open, and there are no employees on site. I called the central number posted in the garage, and it took over 30 minutes for them to determine that their system couldn’t read my Maryland plates, which is why the payment wouldn’t process in the first place. This is a great alternative to paying exorbitant prices for valet parking at the Graduate hotel, just don’t expect to retrieve your car after 11 PM. I used it to park overnight. However let’s clear up some of the questions about this garage. There are only about 30 spaces so it’s not very big. It does fill up during big events like graduation of Cornell Tech so you may get a notice when attempting to get a ticket that there is parking only for monthly parkers. Great staff and a very pleasant transaction.
Reviews are mixed on this place, yet we decided to try it because Valet parking was 3x the price at our hotel per night. We drove up to the door around 10pm and the door automatically opened. Daily and monthly rates are clearly marked near the door. Plenty of parking available and minutes away walking from the Graduate hotel. Im glad I gave it a chance.
