I parked at the SP+Parking lot 4008 Howe St. Oalkand near the Piedmont Grocery Co. It has 119 metered spaces. The spaces are very narrow. It's difficult to open the car doors fully when cars are beside you. I was disconcerted to see several printed signs saying, "Known high car breaking area. ...Park at your own risk." I attended an event that ran until 9 pm. I was concerned how my car would be. It was undamaged when I returned. Clean well light. Central location to shops. Convenient parking lot. Take your stuff with you or hide it in your car or people will break into the car and steal it.
