Absolutely recommend Phil and the team at SPAE for any engine work. They built me a brilliant LS1 for my Holden Adventra, were clear with communication, and were happy to coordinate with me to facilitate removing the engine, building the engine while I stored the car, and then getting the car back to fit the engine. I have not even had the whole job done yet but i am giving a 5 star review, a few months back i took a 308 holden engine block in to be bored/honed/decked and have the main tunnel smartened up. Phil called me very quickly when there was an issue that became apparemt with this block (some rust pitting had failed to clean up 3 thou short of the 30 thou that we were boring to) he gave me the option of coming to look at it before proceeding any further so i could decide myself whether to live with it, sleeve it, or cancel that b... read more
