My first visit to Dr Ames was in May 2024 with severe pain & great difficulty in walking. This contributed to my earlier than planned retirement. After going through the necessary steps of injections & PT, it was ultimately decided surgery was my best option. Southwoods Health and Dr. Ames were excellent throughout my hip replacement surgery and recovery. The surgery center is better than any hospital I’ve ever been to. The staff treated me so kindly, and were very supportive of me. My surgery went so well because of Dr. Ames skill and experience. I highly recommend Dr. Ames and Southwoods Health.
