I'm a patient of Dr. Scavina's, through two heart attacks and two stents. I recently ran out of my heart medication and called for a refill and to set up my next appointment. Dr. Scavina only sees me once a year, my last script was in April 2024. I need this medication to regulate my heart rate. Since it's been over a preset amount of time, two years, they told me I would need to get a referral from my GP to come back to see Dr. Scavina and get the needed heart medication.
