As a student at the college, I really love being able to go to this gym! The staff are so friendly and helpful. It is super clean and well taken care of. And there are so many fun classes you can take! It's such a good deal.
The JAWS is a great place ! Membership is required, and there is a discount for college students. Some classes are included with membership, while others need to be paid for. Don't miss the free, fun Latin Dance class with "Profe Gonzo," who is a very nice and excellent instructor ... very fortunate to have someone like him there. There are some classes for children, and there are summer classes for them, as well . Lockers and an elevator are available. It's very clean, thanks to the great crew in charge of it. I would no longer recommend this gym for anyone. The promises they made for a community membership were never delivered. The community member only locker room is used by students, and they do nothing to deter this. The women's locker room is supposedly only cleaned once a day, but even that doesn't happen. The price is good and the convenience of being able to cancel your membership at anytime is good. However, rules are not enforced with regard to using community member locker rooms, the locker rooms are often not clean, and there is never anyone on the gym floor who enforces rules regarding claiming the equipment after use. Students are not to use the community member locker rooms, but they do it consistently and management.Never does anything about it. The janitorial work is poor as there is often hair on the floors and cou... read more
