At first I really liked Dr ashby as a doctor. He did my hysterectomy and accidentally cut my bladder. It took 12 surgeries and 4 other doctors to fix it. In the 3 years that followed everything that could go wrong did. I ended up in Cincinnati for the final repair. It's hard not to hold it against Dr Ashby even though the courts said it could have happened to anyone and the case was dropped. I lost my job, my house, and my livelihood. I still have struggles today because of this accident.
My 90 y/o mother went for a yearly appt in order to have a preventive antibiotic refilled so she doesn't develop urosepsis. She was told she would need to get undressed for an exam. 90 y/o woman who can barely walk--no female parts needs to have a pelvic exam?!?!?! She told staff she wasn't sure she could safely get undressed after the walk into the office. NOT A SINGLE DAMN PERSON IN THAT OFFICE OFFERED TO HELP HER GET PREPPED FOR HER EXAM. Absolutely the worst place I’ve been too. Not only did I wait an hr & still not be seen, but I was told the Dr just finished up & I was next. 20 minutes later I got dressed & walked out. It’s unfortunate that Janelle Evans left the practice because she also left my insurance network. I will never return here nor recommend this place. I lost work wages, drove 50 minutes to get there & lost my co-pay that had already been paid. Not including gas.
This place is awful at returning calls and are not accepting referrals until February 2024 and not scheduling any appointments until June of 2024. A referral was sent over 2 weeks ago. when calling to get a status, no one answers the phones until after at least 40 rings. Then told the dr is out on Medical leave. Do not send referrals to this office. you will never hear from them
