0 stars but i guess, many lies, were said from this Doctor we were sent to ABQ for nothing. According to so called Doctor he had sent all paperwork and.files to ABQ emergency room. Where supposedly we only had to show up and they would take care of us. Make story short no file or paperwork were ever sent over.obviously no surgery was done his eye kept getting infected. And sadly has passed Thanks for nothing Doc and staff
If I could rate this place zero stars I would. My grandfather got an eye infection from a routine procedure that was performed by Dr. Cuthbertson. When my grandfather went back for help, he was told he needed to travel to Albuquerque for the procedure without a proper explanation as to why. We were told by Dr. Cuthbertson that they would be ready to see him. My dad took my grandma in today for what we were told was going to be a lengthy appointment. They called the day before and told us to bring her insurance card and a list of prescriptions. So we did. When we got there, they asked for a hard copy of the referral, which they had not told us to bring. So he had her doctors office fax it over at 8am when they opened, which was the same time as her eye appointment. When they faxed it over, the referral didn't list her diabetes so this office REFUSED to see her for her appointment... read more
Aside from the long wait even with an appointment, staff id rude and unprofessional. Avoid Dr. Cuthbertson at all costs. I had surgery with him and now I’m stuck with him for all my follow ups. He is rude condescending, doesn’t answer questions, and if you have any concerns he treats you as if you were stupids and as if you we’re supposed to know already. I had a retina detachment and had to get surgery, after my surgery I kept seeing flashes, for the 1 month appointment I asked him if it was normal to keep seeing flashes, h... read more
The staff is unprofessional and discourteous, and there appears to be a significant lack of knowledge regarding their responsibilities. My company changes insurance companies and only showed one of their doctors in the list of in-network, the person setting appointments said that if all the doctors weren't in my network I couldn't see any. Well, that just doesn't make sense! If my insurance says I can see Dr. Metrikin but doesn't list the rest of their doctors then shouldn't their office be working to get all their physician... read more
