After noticing my prescription refills were not getting renewex and an emergency room visit from a motorcycle incident was told by the hospital that my Doctor with this group was no longer there. I never heard anything from this office to that fact. If not for this accident I would have ran out of medicine to deal with my COPD..
I'm sure Dr. Raper is a good doctor as he comes highly recommended by a couple of reliable sources. However, the office is so short handed they cannot even tell me if they received my referral 4 days after it was sent via fax by my primary care doc. They will not even consider making an apt w/o a referral regardless whether or not your insurance requires a referral. My wife has COPD. She was qualified by Dr. Heidbrink for a portable oxygen concentrator. She currently has a home oxygen concentrator. The office had to end the contract with the current supplier before she could get the portable. After about a month of repeated phone calls and no replies I finally had to get my insurance company involved to get the Dr.'s office to make a five minute phone call to end the contract. Today we received a letter stating they are no longer able to provide medical care for her. Really? I would not... read more
Due to a cutback in staff, many patients were told to go to a different Pul group. Not very caring.
