This is the worst and most expensive water I've ever had. In 10 years, I've gone through 3 dishwashers, 4 washing machines, and replaced every toilet and faucet in my entire house at least twice. If you want to water landscaping then be prepared for a $250 monthly water bill. When I asked them for an outside meter to water my flowers (so I wouldn't be charged for sewage) they said, "No, because we are having financial problems." Our water quality meets EPA requirements. The EPA recommends a hardness level between 120-150 ppm. Our level is 130 ppm which is still hard but within the EPA guidelines. A private water softener system may be beneficial to you. You can view a copy of our annual Consumer Confidence Report showing water quality on our website. www.swlcws.com. Deduct meters are not offered and never have been offered for outside watering because they do not promote water conservation.
