This man said something terrible to my mom at her appointment with him. Trash. Do not go here!
When my mother would see Dr Martinez, no one else could be in the exam room with her. She struggled to answer his questions. My sister and I were always ignored or cut off when trying to talk to him. The last time my mother saw Dr Martinez, she told him she was depressed (Which isn’t my mother). He looked her point blank in the eyes and said,”You have cancer. Deal with it”. Then walked out. She never went back. Horrible attitude. Rude. Arrogant. His treatments stink as well.

I was warned not to go to him because he had horrible bedside manner but then I was told he was a good doctor! Big mistake! Don’t waste your time on him especially for older patients! There are better oncologist!!!!!!!
He is kind, thoughtful, patient. He listens, and is genuinely caring. My advice to all patients is to write down a list of questions, no question is stupid, this is what a doctor is there for to help you understand procedures, and feel more comfortable. If you don't know what a word means that he just said, ask him to define it. Ask him to explain in detail about any procedures you will be having, and how you will feel after.
