I will never use Southwest Health's Emergency Room again, and I urge others to stay away. I have a complex medical history—60 surgeries, countless hospitalizations, mostly in Madison. I’ve only gone to this ER when I had no other choice. Other than one visit for a broken ankle, this place has failed me every time. Dr. Bogner once looked at me and asked, “Well, what do you want me to do?”—as if being too sick to drive to UW wasn’t reason enough to expect basic care. Come in for an emergency appt that needed to be done. The staff at the front door were great. I talked to Dr. Quinn. He tried to get me taken care of that day before he left. The incoming Dr. Wouldn't even come to the room I was in to see the situation. Now I have to wait just about a week in pain that I can't stand. Because some Dr. Doesn't care about the patients that come in. Yes, I have a few choice work for him.
