Dr. Frieden is an amazing AME. Very compassionate, and easy to work with.
If you are prior military and have a disability rating be careful going here for a medical. My rating and diagnosis weren't even complete yet with the military and I came here for a medical but because I put down my military disability rating she sent it up to the FAA. Been working on getting it back for two years now, had to drop out of school at SUU, and halted my career progression. Finding a AME to work worth has been a struggle and extremely expensive.
Both examiner and receptionist were very kind / professional.
Made getting a medical again as a veteran very difficult for no reason, do not reccomend if you don't want complications with you medical.
Went to two different doctors that told me I had 20/20 vision, within a week of my appointment for my 2nd class medical certificate . Their vision test is a laminated eye chart that they shine an LED light on just to blur the letters for you. After my application was postponed they gave me 10 days to get an eye exam and glasses.
