I just had my second cataracts surgery with Dr Jayasinghe two days ago. I found the whole experience, including the consultations, hospital visits and surgeries to be honestly fantastic. Clearly Dr Jayasinghe runs a busy and efficient practice. I found him to be very helpful and he answered my questions quickly and to the point, which I really appreciated at the time. After surgery, he gave me a very re-assuring pat on the shoulders to let me know everything had gone well, and together with every other member of staff at Bus... read more

Dr Jayasinghe was good and upbeat pre surgery, post surgery we felt rushed. My 87 year old mother has had some concerns post surgery, been to optometrist 3 times, GP x 3, I have contacted reception at SW surgery for past 5 weeks at least 6 times and have not been able to get a follow up appointment with any of their specialists. I have also not been called back as promised.Mums condition could be major, could be minor however I feel she should be seen as an existing patient.Very frustrating

I only got a prescription for eye oinment that I can get in a pharmacy without prescription. After 5 days my eye still hurts. I asked multiple times for the clinical l... read more

Dr Jay ìs one of the top in his field - a brilliant surgeon with a terrific sense of humour once you get to know him better. After care was a breeze the very next day and follow-up booked in fine. The only issue is the new receptionist, who is either incompetent or struggling to learn. It's best to keep on your toes rather than rely on her ministrations til she hopefully learns her job requirements or is upmoded.
