I took my first Ashiatsu class with Brenda about 7 years ago (something like that).... she is amazing!
If you're reading this review it's because you're on a search for the best Ashiatsu training program. I can't recommend Southwest Ashiatsu enough. I've taken almost all of the courses that Brenda offers and have a successful Ashitasu practice which I contribute to the level of training I received. Brenda is exceptionally detailed in her teaching and has large base of knowledge when it comes to the anatomy of the body not to mention her funny sense of humor that keeps you chuckling throughout the day. Best Decision Ever!!! I recently had the opportunity to travel from Cleveland to Tucson to take Ashiatsu Bridge with Brenda. Brenda is an amazing person and amazing teacher! The knowledge she has in Ashiatsu and the human body is incredible. She takes the time to explain everything and shows genuine interest in her students as individuals. I have taken 7-8 classes from Brenda over the last 4 years and I can't say enough good things about her! She is hands down the best instructor I have ever worked with, including professors from my B.S. degree in Exercise Science at BYU. She takes time to answer all individual questions and her passion for Ashiatsu massage shines through. This was my first time taking a class with Brenda. She exceeded all of my expectations. She is passionate about Ashiatsu and has done everything she can to learn so much about it. She is an exceptional instructor. On the last day, I worked on her for a little bit. While she was face down, she was able to tell me what position my foot needed to be in and to relax my knee. I've taken a few classes with Brenda, including private ones. I'm also her regular client. I've learned so much from her, she's a really great teacher and I highly recommend her. Loving, attentive, dynamic, fun. I always get useful feedback. Her home/teaching space is gorgeous, she might as well be an interior designer!
Brenda is an amazing soul❤️ Overwhelmingly amazing!! I enjoyed every moment of my training! So many niceties provided for students and an open and welcoming environment. I took Brenda's Introductory Posterior and Anterior class back in 2015. I was looking to really set myself apart and offer a deeper massage for the general public. Brenda really fit the bill. She is extremely knowledgeable and one of the best teachers I have had.
