It's all a bout the money! The wait is long. They get you into a room and you sit for long periods of time, waiting to see this on or that one. We took our dog in for an ear infection. We knew this is what it was but had to have every test under the sun just to tell us it was indeed an ear infection. $214 just for an ear infection!!! PROS: none CONS: too many to list. Just avoid this place!
Pricey, Impersonal Pricey, impersonal. I felt like I was on an assembly line instead of at a caring practice. I spent a grand total of 10 minutes being seen and only about 2 of those were with a doctor. I was left wondering if they have a business consultant managing the practice that demands that they fill an unreasonable quota of patients per hour and run as many tests as possible, whether needed or not. Southtowns Animal Hospital is a pet friendly place The care here is excellent and the staff is extremely friendly, however the cost is alot and in todays times, petsmart for shots is a have to for us. When we can afford it we take all our pets there but right now there is no way we can do this especially since that don't take payments on services and it always costs us at least 200 to take two of our pets in for routine stuff like rabies and distemper. Excellent care for my pets!!! I love the vets and staff at southtowns animal hospital. Dr. Winkle, Dr. Kim, and Dr. Washburn are just great. They make me feel involved in the treatment plans for my pets and treat my pets like their own. They are so personable and friendly. I don't feel like they are in it for the money at all. They gave me many options to treat my pet and let me pick the one that fit my budget. They even called a few days after my visit to see how my dog was doing, my own doctor doesn't do that! Superb Veterinarian! I have been taking my dog and 2 cats to the Southtowns Animal Hospital ever since I got them. The doctors and nurses are all very friendly and offer the animals treats to calm them down. They perform everything from basic checkups to shots and even surgeries. I have seen other vets before and these are certainly the best! PROS: great care, help relax animals CONS: nothing
Southtowns Animal Hospital Southtowns Animal Hospital, located on Orchard Park Road near Seneca Street, is a hospital that offers veterinary services to the residents of West Seneca and surrounding areas. Pet Ownership Means Responsibility I don't know which vet you had (cat grabbed by scruff of the neck) but I've never seen any of their staff handle any animal roughly. Furthermore, the reviews here have a trend--this place costs too much. People--do you want a professional doctor of veterinary medicine to see your pet or some zit faced kid with no experience or training. Does not care about the animals comfort! My cat is 13yrs old and no longer travels well. She had a script that needs refilling. The Dr. would not refill her script with out seeing her. It cost us 42.00 for him to check her heart rate write the script and walk out. What a joke. The WORST part was when he picked her up by the scruff of her neck to move her! i am not sure why they call this an animal hospital because they cannot or will not do many things. Everything I asked the Dr. or nurse was met by "We do not do that here." If you are looking for a one stop facility for your pets this is NOT your place.
