I am over the moon happy with the service I got from Southtowne on being able to diagnose and replace my transmission in my truck. The only issue I had with the experience was the car rental. This isn't 100% on Southtowne, I understand that. The warranty company would only cover five days of car rental. They (the warranty company) didn't send anyone out until the fourth day to confirm the diagnosis. I ended up coming out of pocket for an additional six days of car rental. Buyers beware. Called about a used truck. Jon sends me the sale price 2 grand over what they have it listed for. Trying to charge 500 for accessories on a used truck. Trying to charge 900 to do the paperwork. Bunch of crooks. Better do your homework boys
Good experience over all. Definitely dont show you the pampering some dealers do! I found a CPO GMC Acadia AT4 there. Filled out on line forms. Jon carter Messaged me almost instantly. I Let him know up front i didnt want to sit in the dealer all day so we did most the numbers game over phone/text. Once it came down to business he had the no haggle bs attitude just straight to the point this is it, it is what it is. We were able to agree on some numbers to get the deal done. By far the worst buying experience I’ve ever had. From the very beginning, the communication was terrible. When I first reached out, James, the salesman, told me he would send photos within ten minutes and I had to follow up six hours later before he finally did what he promised. Now, even after the purchase, I’m still struggling just to get proper communication so I can have my vehicle correctly titled in the State of Florida.
