If you like building your custom home yourself...hire these guys. My wife and I went to the build site every day. These guys were never there. They pull their permits using another company’s license and they hire unlicensed subs that do horrible work. My wife and I were the ones that were telling the subs what to do and making most of them redo their work. Unprofessional and overpriced for the lousy service they provided. I have had a hard time finding a construction loan to build and Southstar had the answer for me.
I wish there was a Negative 5 star. These un-Professionals turned my dream home into a nightmare. They hired unlicensed workers, my house was built 115 feet smaller than plan, incredibly poor workmanship, carpentry that looks like it was done by a 6 year old with a butter knife. Windows, doors and dormers in the wrong place (I guess they couldn't read their own plans) All of our interior trim was done 3 times and we now have to hire an professional finish carpenter to rip it all off and redo it.
