Recently bought a hull from here and it was a very smooth and easy process, with very honest and fair prices. Kevin and the staff were patient, awesome & knowledgeable answering any questions I had and on top of my great experience they even personally gave me some extra ratchet straps to ensure me and the new boat made it back safely since I forgot mine over 2hrs away back home. Was a pleasure doing business here with these honest & good group of fellas.
Took my boat to get motor checked! They had it for over a month! Called on Monday to tell me the boat was ready, quoted the price for repair. When I got there on Tuesday the boat was not ready, when it was finally ready it cost me $90.00 more than I was told. When I asked for the breakdown of work there was no price on any of the parts or labor! Very unprofessional !!!
I know David from long ago, very good guy. The business is always popular. They keep the property clean and well took care of. Definitely a plus for the town of Turbeville.
Will at Southside was great to work with. He's very knowledgeable on the boats and products they can install. He answered a ton of questions via text message before I made a trip up from Charleston to see a few duck boat models in person. Never any high pressure tactics but just good old fashioned handshake kind of business. Highly recommend Southside if you're in the market for a a duck/fishing boat.
