Driving back to Minnesota after the eclipse under horrible circumstances (weather/traffic), Lance comes to save the day! Can't figure how he got there so fast. Drove me to the motel and waited to make sure they had a room. Clued me in on restaurants, bars, and such. He was buried in work but since he was almost positive it was my alternator, he told me to expect a call in the early am.
