I was looking for a place for my daughter. She is 22 and needed a co-signer at the other 2 places I looked. The staff at Southside Manor went above and beyond for us. Joe was super helpful. He called a couple of her creditors to allow her to get in on her own credit report. He then showed her multiple apartments and allowed her to choose. She was trying to buy a house but needed too much of a deposit. So she needs to save more money. To start, the rent is way too expensive. They offer it cheap for your first year and then keep increasing it....for what reason? Not sure, they never update anything there, not in the 2.5 years I lived there. The walls are SUPER thin, like cardboard box thin. The whole apartment building shakes when the main doors shut. Depends who your neighbors are, but if they complain, there is no appreciation for the fact that some people get home late due to working evening/night shifts.
