This place refuses to see any new patients that have not been diagnosed with Lyme disease within one week of exposure. Living in a high endemic state of Virginia, this is ridiculously absurd. A vast majority of Lyme patients are Chronic, being bitten far too long ago to 'qualify' for their services. This leaves us out of the realm of care. In Virginia, any tick bite in your history followed by symptoms of Lyme later on are accepted for a diagnosis.
