Don't believe the 5 star lies. Don't believe all the 5 star reviews for this place. They are a lie. I brought in a piece of glass to have two pieces made from it and they broke my piece of glass, told me I brought it in to them broken, and REFUSED to replace what they broke. The staff was rude, hateful, condescending, unprofessional. If you need more information please email me at phokuahole@gmail.com. Hometown is Southside I purposely drive right by W & K Marts to go to Southside Hardware. When I need just about anything to do with fixing, painting, cleaning, building or rigging something, these guys are great to work with. The owner Jeff has always been on target to help and very quick to direct or get me in & out. Time is money and it always takes so long at the box stores to get just about anything. Joke of a business I worked here for 8 months and trust me when I say the owner Jeff is a real jerk. He plays favorites with his employees and often pokes fun at customers who may not be able to convey what it is they really need or who may not speak English very well. Also, my grandmother got very ill and had to spend two months in the ICU and came close to dying. Great Service and Staff I have paid a little more for the same products compared to the big box stores, but the level of service and the knowledge of the staff far exceeds any cost differential.
Southside Hardware Inc is OK The prices at Southside Hardware is pretty comparable to that at the big box hardware stores. I've purchased some plumbing supplies and mulch here. The customer service was professional.

Their prices are affordable and they have almost anything for the homeowner; plumbing, electrical, paint, lawn and garden care and much more. They even carry boy scout supplies. The staff is very friendly and courteous and they are willing to help you with anything you might need.
