Do not use this business ,workmanship poor and he will not back his dodgy work up. Claims to have rebuilt a vdj79 4.5 lt engine for me didn't last the distance spun main bearing ,and no back up had to replace front and rear main seals 6 mths after rebuild,found remains of a rubber glove inside engine compartment.
Love the work they do, can’t complain about workmanship or quality. But trying to get a hold of these guys don’t even try, couldn’t answer a phone to save their lives.
Job:Bore+ hone cylinders of a 2.2l 4 cylinder bottom end. Machine/Polish bottom end parts as needed. Delivered February 2024 Job completed March 2025. For the first 3 months despite calls to check in there was no commitment to a completion date or estimated completion date. Machinist directed me to purchase pistons to later find out he could not bore the cylinders to suit. Ultimately the bores were just honed. Real old fashioned down to earth service. The team went the extra mile to machine extra surfaces on my vintage car cylinder head, and offer solid advice on copper head gaskets. Some people I know travel all the way from Kalgoorlie to get work done on engine parts. How lucky am I to be in the same suburb as these guys!
