Solid spot for good North Carolina Vinegar based BBQ, deserts were good and the sides were really great as well the low amount of hours opened means the food is going to be fresh and the specials do sell out quickly. So be sure to go early if you want the chicken and dumplings on Wednesday There is really no indoor seating there is limited spots outside The meal deal that it's 11$ for 2 sides and either chicken or pulled pork BBQ is a real deal, that you can add a drink and a desert to for an additional 2.50$

First time visiting this place and service was great. Little Mom and Pop place with generous portions and humble people. Highly recommended and I plan on returning quite often. If you're in the area, you need to try this place. It is up to us to keep these precious little places in business.

Edit: another chicken sandwich with the mac-n-cheese, still delicious. Edit: Tried the chicken sandwich and it was delicious. Glad I didn’t get the Big Chix, the regular was big enough for me. This is a lot of great food for a great price. I was working in the area over two years ago and really liked this place, I am back and stopped in for a late lunch and nothing has changed. I'd give it 2.5 stars. Two leg quarters with Mac and cheese and green beans for $11 is a good deal (which bumped the score up half a star) but the food wasn't seasoned. Chicken, Mac and cheese, and green beans was bland. The pulled pork had an interesting flavor being kind of tangy but the meat was tough to where I didn't finish half of it. The coleslaw was surprisingly pretty darn good. It was best thing I ate. A friend of mine said this place similar to Mission BBQ. We are no longer friends.
