I have been taking my dog here for the past several years for regular check-ups and vaccines. They said everything was normal at the most recent appointment but my dog became sick several days after. Bloodwork was repeated and my dog was diagnosed with a terminal illness. Instead of offering options such as palliative care, they recommended that I put my dog down immediately. Unfortunately, our cat needed Seizure medication multi-X/day. The amount was too high for a retired couple (I am disabled too. I called the Office-asking to speak to a Vet about my concern. I’d read online about helpful Organizations. The Receptionist, challenged me to name these Organizations,,Just name them! I said that they can Google the list. She was extremely rude! May 2026. Southside Animal clinic is absolutely the best vet clinic in the city. They genuinely care about you and your pet. They go out of their way to help you with anything you need and are extremely kind. Dr Karen is the most genuine vet I have ever met and the other vets are also a pleasure to deal with. The receptionists and vet techs go out of their way to make sure you understand everything. So grateful for the ALL staff!
