Recently had a very bad experience there. I brought in my Honda that i purchased there several years ago for repairs. I called a week and half after i brought in my boat and spoke to Michele about its progress. long story short they didn't work on it and i asked to speak to the mechanic about its progress. Southold Marine is my go to Honda Marine supply store. They explain everything. I am so happy with owing a Honda, all of the advice that they gave me is so well worth it. Such as changing the thermostat yearly. Only once when I replaced it the spring was broken, but how would I have known? The part is inexpensive and the engine running at proper temerature insures its best performance. The list could go on. My Honda 2001 BF90 is well maintained, and insanely reliable. Southold Marine helps keep me on the water.
I took my 2002 Honda outbound 9.9 engine to this dealership in Southold because the motor kept stalling after I started it up. At that time the dealer told me that they would call me as soon as it was fixed. Not once over the 3 month period they had my engine did I receive a call back from them. I called many times to inquire what the status was and when I could come get it.
