We were long term tenants where our bond was seized by Southlands Estate Agents when we vacated the property. This bond dispute went to NCAT as a direct result of the property manager’s handling of the situation. On 21 April 2026, NCAT ordered the full bond plus interest be returned to us. The Tribunal accepted our evidence and rejected the claimed deductions. I strongly recommend tenants keep meticulous records including exit photos and video walkthrough at the end of lease.
