I originally thought that this was a great place back in January, but I found out differently this week. I made an appointment for an eye exam AFTER being cleared by the specialist Dr. Belamaric referred me to. The specialist even sent a letter updating her, which she read right in front of me at my appointment on Monday. But after my 90 second exam, she refused to provide me an updated prescription for my glasses and said my eye wasn't ready and to come back in a few weeks. RecommendedI wouldn't trust anyone else with my eyes. I had a bad eye injury. I got whipped in the eyeball with a branch & not only did it scratch my eye badly but it left embedded bark in it. Dr. Reno tried to get out out in office but ended up removing it surgically. Highly recommend.

I have been going to Dr. Balamaric for over 30 years and have been more than completely satisfied. She is totally professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend her in a heart beat.
Hi... Both my father and my Aunt have had not just exams but actually they also had caderack surgery done by the fantastic Doctors there. On the phone I was actually treated great by Rhonda. She went over and above what she needed to do for me. I will return for sure.... Thank you Southland Eye Center!!!

Don't go! RUN AWAY! It was an extremely PAINFUL experience. I had to wait 1 full hour before seeing the Doctor for my first visit. But that?s nothing compared to mistakes made when I went in for surgery to have a sty removed. I was prepared for surgery, and the Doctor from HELL came in. She turned my upper eyelid back and began to give me a shot of Novocain. I felt very sharp pain as she was doing this, and I told her ?That hurts?. She replied, ?It?s just a shot of Novocain?. Then I felt an EXTREAMLY SHARP PAIN as she began ... read more
