Booked a regular pedi and a dip manicure. Didn’t have the matching regular polish for the dip I wanted. They attempted to color match. See photo of their “match”. Both colors are no where near the color I wanted. Pedicure was basic. No scrub. Had to ask for a cut. Polish is fine. Moved on to nails. Seemed very rushed and very not like my usual dip manicures. I was hoping to not have to write a public review as I tried to hand this privately with an email to the salon but after more than a week and no response, here we go.. I came in for my 11am appointment for a dip manicure and regular pedicure with Jess. I was actually 10 min early. This was the first time in the salon, both Jess and the salon came highly recommended by multiple people. I just left Southie Nail Bar and I honestly don’t even know where to start. The place looks amazing—beautiful decor, seemingly relaxing atmosphere—but don't let that fool you. The actual service was absolutely horrible. I came in today to get my nails done for my wedding tomorrow, and I left on the verge of tears. I asked for a simple, elegant acrylic set—nothing crazy. I have been going to this place for over two years now and I LOVE THIS PLACE. Always clean, very professional service. I only get my nails done once a month and they always last until the next time I go. Melissa and Danny have been my go-tos.
