I am writing this final comment to fully express just how upsetting and confusing my experience was at WVU Medicine’s Southgate Urgent Care on Sunday, 05/04/2025. I came in seeking relief from a painful gastritis flare-up. Instead of being met with care and understanding, I encountered one of the most bizarre, unprofessional, and emotionally distressing medical interactions I’ve ever experienced. Waste of time. Told me I had an Upper Respiratory Infection, treating me for allergies. But the kicker is the nurses being so loud that even with clogged ears, I could hear them making fun of me at the nurses station. Will not be going back.
