My mom has Alzheimer’s and has been bed ridden the past couple of years. Southern Care employees are very caring and I can’t speak highly enough of them. However, their medical supply service is horrible. My mom rarely receives her weekly supplies. I have been waiting two weeks for diapers, and three weeks for a box of gloves. I have reported the lack of supplies to the nurses and main office, and it’s always one excuse after another. Great team of people who truly care about their patients! They went over and beyond what anyone could ever expect from a home health care organization. I wish I could call them by their names, to give them the acknowledgement and gratitude they deserve! But not so sure it would be appropriate, to post their names on here. I can say my mom had the best nurse, who is very knowledgeable, with a heart of gold. Along with the most compassionate social worker who helped in so many ways.
